The Alliance Global Serve (AGS) is an international agency of the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian & Missionary Alliance (CC&MA) based in Hong Kong, and thus, inherited the spirit of the C&MA founder, Dr. A. B. Simpson: “Take the forgotten gospel to the forgotten places among the forgotten people.”
As early as in 1964, CC&MA had already sent out her first overseas coworker. In between 1973 and 1995, in parternship with the C&MA Church Union of Hong Kong, the “Foreign Missionary Society of the CC&MA” (FMS) was formed and over 50 workers had been sent to ten different countries in South East Asia, Europe and Africa during that period of time. In 1995, the ministry was turned over to the leadership of the Hong Kong Alliance Mission.
To mobilize the cross-cultural ministry within the CC&MA denomination, restructuring had taken place and workers have been support to serve among unreached people group. After 10 years of developments, on March 12, 2006, Alliance Global Serve Limited was formally inaugurated at the first-ever joint CC&MA churches Mission Sunday.
